This is our second trip to Beach side 1, we stayed at another condo last year. The difference between this condo and that one was night and day. Unfortunately, all the furniture needs to be replaced, there is some type of stain on everything, even the bedding had stains on it. The cabinets are so poorly installed, you can't fully open them. The shades don't even cover the entire window in the bedroom. We absolutely love the building but would never, ever stay in this condo again. 2000 characters isn't enough to list everything that needs attention in this condo.

Walking through the door we were greeted with a stunning view of the gulf. The decor was very nice!
Only a few recommendations such as, the sofa needs updated, the living room tv needs to be replaced because the speaker rattles the piture was great though.
The bed was very comfortable, we both have bad backs but slept very well. The linnens were very soft and cozy as well as pillows. Would have been nice to have a screen on the balcony door. The balcony table and chairs set needs to have repaired rattan on a few areas.
Very clean! Absolutely stunning landscaping! The pool is a place you want to lay by, swim in and enjoy the cozy sitting area or grill area. The gates you have to go through with codes to get to the beach is a bit much when carrying items with you. The beach and gulf water is close and clean with nice chairs and umbrella set up for you each morning at addition cost.
The golf cart is great and easy to get around to local restaurants and shops. We loved our stay and will Absolutely �� % come back. Also great communication and that means so much!

The rental unit we rented was exactly like pictures & in a great location. The master bed was very comfortable & kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The kitchen cabinet set up was s little awkward but still useable. One cabinet door would not open all the way because of setup & another cabinet had all shelves missing (??). The couch was kind of broke down but the chairs were great. Overall the rental was nice & in a great location.

We recently visited Sandestin for an adult getaway. The view of the beach was great perfect to watch the sunset. The condo overall was clean and well described and was clean. The only suggestion I have like others is the couch was well worn and wasn’t really comfortable. The golf cart was a great addition to the condo and easy to locate. Overall we would stay here again with our family.

Everything was great with our rental. The only issue we had was we had problems finding the golf cart, however that issue should be resolved now. Sometimes the elevator waits were long, but that was due to covid and only one party in the elevator at a time.

The condo was very clean and in good condition. Gorgeous view! Platinum was very polite and responsive when I needed to call about master toilet running - they resolved issue quickly. Smaller building so pool is smaller than some but hot tub is very nice. Has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Though there are bracelets, pool area was not “policed” by an attendant like some other complexes are. There was someone there, however, when a few kids were running/jumping from hot tub to pool. Having the golf cart was great! Only downside, fitness area very small with limited equipment. Overall very happy, I would look to stay here again.

We were completely spoiled in our condo. The balcony overlooking the ocean was one of our favorite places to be every morning and evening. Having a golf cart to use anytime was a huge added bonus. We were completely spoiled in our condo. The balcony overlooking the ocean was one of our favorite places to be every morning and evening. Having a golf cart to use anytime was a huge added bonus. The condo was clean, very nicely decorated, and a perfect location. We would love to stay again in the exact same place.

•Overall I would recommend staying at San Destin Beachside One but if you prefer a more updated feel then may be worth checking out other condos in this resort! It was East of Destin and away from all the touristy areas but a short drive to all the restaurants and shops.

•Recommendation: Go after school begins! It was somewhat of a ghost town and pretty quiet on the resort & at the beach

This condo had everything we needed during our vacation. We used the golf cart to get around the resort wherever we wanted to go. The beach was awesome!! Platinum staff was very polite and ready to assist us with anything we needed. Will definitely stay with them again!!

I know when I was researching units to rent, the most important things I looked for in the reviews were: 1) How recent was their stay, and 2) Did people say they would return in the future.

So - We stayed there the last week of May 2018, and we would definitely return in the future.

PROS:
-The Sandestin complex is a more centralized location (for example a trip into Destin if you’re staying in Seaside/Watercolor is much shorter).
-Beachside I is an older building, so there’s less beach congestion.
-The keyless front door is brilliant, so we’re not tasked with maintaining keys for the unit.
-Full size washer and dryer.
-Comfortable beds.
-The golf cart is a bonus (although we didn’t use it much).

CONS:
-Beachside I is an older building.

SUGGESTIONS:
-The den could use an ottoman and blankets (my wife/kids were always cold).
-Opening the glass door onto the patio was more difficult than it should be.
-Replace/repair the shades in the Master Bedroom, because they wouldn’t go down/up straight.

The only issue we had was that the elevators broke during our stay (a condition of the building, not the unit). The management had technicians out quickly but we didn’t have elevator service for a day, and when service was restored only 1 of the 2 elevators were working (so we usually had a long wait for the elevator).

All in all, we would definitely stay there again.

There's also a couple of great gas grills if you want to grill up some dinner! :) We would stay at the Beachside One again, however, 4071 condo itself needs some updating so we won't stay in that condo again. With the exception of a lazy boy chair, the family room furniture was very uncomfortable. The couch was even broken and very worn down. The "pantry" in the kitchen had no shelves and a broken basket handing from the wall. The master shower sprays in an awkward direction so that it always hits the glass door. Lastly, the master bedroom windows did not open. Lastly, no beach chairs were included. That's not a big deal, but they have always been included so it was a little disappointing.
The BEST part of renting this particular condo was the the Premier rental company staff. They were absolutely wonderful to us throughout the entire process and week. We will most definitely use them again!

We love coming to Sandestin, unfortunatlely tropical storm Cindy showed up. We could not go in the water to swim. The rest of stay was wonderful!! We will be back & use Platinum Services again!! Catherine was very helpful!!!

The location is great.The check-in and check out process, and communication on the upcoming trip from management company was great. The condominium was overall good. The bedroom view was incredible. Only negatives, the couch is terrible. Could not even sit on it due to being worn out. And the 2 white chairs were stained. Other than that, overall would go again.

The condo was very nice and the view www lovely. However we had a hard time with the keyless entry working and staying locked. The location of the condo was also nice and next to a lot. We would definitely come back again. We never could figure out where the dumpster was for trash though.

This place was wonderful! I have stayed at the luau in Sandestin and that does not compare to the price and quality of this room. The view is beautiful, the decor was great, and it is literally right on the beach. I could not have asked for a better trip. There were 5 of us and we all fit comfortably in this condo and the kitchen and fridge were huge to store all your food/snacks.

Everything was fine except for one issue, the shower door in the master bathroom would not close properly and we made 2 phone calls during the stay to the office to have it repaired, but it was never repaired, I even called right before we left so that it hopefully would get repaired before the next renters arrived.

Unfortunately, my husband had a health emergency, ended up in the hospital in Pensacola and we didn't get to enjoy the beach vacation that we intended. However, I did check into our condo and it was lovely! I'm so sad that we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy our time. I hope that we get to return...

Our stay was awesome. The weather was 84 in the day 62 at night, not a cloud in the sky, calm winds, calm water and perfect water temp for swimming. We had a problem with one of our toilets and it was serviced promptly. The on small drawback was the pool at the building next to ours. It's water jets were so loud that we could not hear the ocean :(. The Baytown and Raven golf courses were just amazing. We highly recommend this condo and Sandestin!

Overall it was a great unit with a fantastic view. The pool was a bit basic, but functional and enjoyable for the kids. The beach was great - not too crowded with great water temp. There was a lot of algae that made swimming less enjoyable than it would have otherwise been. Overall, great experience. Would love to go back.

The condo was great other than it would be helpful and more appealing if the baseboards were thoroughly cleaned and the condo needs a paint job. It is a nice building, the pool area was great and the access to the beach was very convenient. The furnishings in the condo were very nice but I think an overall thorough cleaning would really spruce up the condo. The view every morning from the master bedroom is incredible. Would love to return, and would even stay in #4071; however, I think a thorough cleaning would be the ticket!

Our condo was just ok. It had been totally redecorated and the new furniture was nice. The kitchen wasn't very clean when we arrived. The rugs in the Condo (all three) are so dirty and stained. We loved the condo. It had everything we we looking for-great view of the Gulf, nice big balcony, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, it was easy to get to the beach, the beach and water were fantastic, and the pool was wonderful. For my wife, daughter, and I, it was an ideal vacation!

Everything was great . A new mattress on the King bed would have made the stay perfect in every way. I recommended a friend **** Rankin give you-all a call. I hope he got in touch with you-all.
