Beachside 1 is my favorite place to stay. We stayed for 5 nights and wished we could stay 5 more!
The condo was clean and fresh! The beds were comfy! Plenty of pots and pans for cooking thanksgiving dinner. We loved it and can’t wait to go back.
If I could make one suggestion it would be get some recliners in the living room but then I really would not want to leave.

Our condo in beachside one number 4063 was absolutely amazing.
Breathtaking views of the ocean, no better way to wake up in the morning than to look out you huge windows of the bedroom at the ocean waves rolling in. Watching the beautiful sunsets from the balcony in the evening just can’t be beat.
The condo was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing vacation for my wife and I, the property was beautiful, pool and hot tub and entire patio aera was the best of any condo unit we have ever stayed in.
We will definitely stay here again, AARON and the staff at platinum vacations went above and beyond to make this vacation amazing. I highly recommend this condo, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give it a try
The outlet mall near by is a great choice for shoppers and so many great restaurants. I highly recommend McGuire’s Irish pub, Grimaldi’s brick oven pizza, and for a tasty treat try kilwins in destin commons shopping district.

Only two small issues, the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink didn’t work so even though we were careful not to put any food down it, after a while the sink became very slow to drain. I stayed in this unit early June 2021 with two girlfriends on a Mom's GetAway. I would highly recommend booking through Platinum- they are really great to work with. Specifically, somebody always answered my emails with random questions within a matter of hours, and with the exception of Sunday, somebody answered the phone the couple of times we needed to call during the trip. Also, the Platinum app is incredibly user friendly. Positives: clean; great management; easy walk to: beach, the main Hilton hotel (get a steak at Seagar's) and the Beach House restaurant; shuttle to Baytown Wharf Village just across the highway (where there are tons of things to do); old golf cart, which is on its last leg, but can easily get you to the grocery and liquor stores and/or the Village. Cons: no pool (under construction); golf cart brakes and steering are shot, and somebody "borrowed" our cart one night because some of the keys are apparently universal (so- keep track of where you park it and let management know if you do not find it in the proper place so you are not stuck with any potential damage from joy riders)- Platinum was very understanding when this happened to us; BIGGEST CON- the master bedroom mattress is like a rock. I saw earlier reviews about this and thought "How bad can it be?" It's bad- LOL. If you're driving, pack a foam mattress maybe? The twin bed mattresses are fine. The master bedroom is also very bright in the morning and construction on the pool area starts early (like 7am), so an eye mask and ear plugs is also a must have for that bedroom.

Life in 2020. This place was a sanctuary for the best parts of what we were looking for and desperately needed. The surrounding area was the rest of everything we had hoped for. The view alone just made my stress melt away. Great condo tastefully decorated. The property is just the right size for that not so busy but plenty of activity. In a word. Perfect.

This rental was nice, but I wouldn’t rent it again. We love getting out on the golf cart and exploring the resort, which is why we rented this unit. But the golf cart was in such poor condition, we barely wanted to use it. The tires were wobbly feeling and the brakes were terrible. We plugged it in after using it, but it wouldn't regain/hold a battery charge. My husband accidentally pressed the horn button and it wouldn’t stop blowing.

In the unit, the washer and dryer were sporadic - the washer stopped in mid load once and never finished washing the clothes, so we had to do the same load again. A couple of times, the dryer wouldn’t heat, and then other times it worked perfectly.
The unit was decorated nicely. Personally, we prefer ceiling fans to keep rooms cooler, especially at night, so we were disappointed that there weren’t any. The master bedroom became warm at night. We also were surprised that there were no overhead lights in the living room and bedrooms.

We love Beachside 1, but have stayed in nicer units for the same or less cost.

My husband and I were able to take my husband’s 88-year-old mother and her 75-year-old friend. They loved bunking up together in the bedroom with twin beds. The condo is beautifully appointed, and extremely clean. We loved being able to rent the chairs and umbrella so they were able to be right on the beach To watch the surf. We had a little problem with the air-conditioning, but it was fixed immediately. We definitely will come back! We took the ladies on a little golf cart ride, my mother-in-law had never been on one before! Just so you know the golf cart only has number three on it. The other numbers are missing, but we noticed in the picture from the profile that it was just a three. That might’ve caused some confusion for other guests and should be labeled appropriately.

This unit is perfect for a family of 4. We loved the balcony and master view, the washer and dryer in the unit, as well as the golf cart! Our girls loved driving to Baytown and the grocery. The plug in the 2nd bathroom for the bathtub didn't work, and the master mattress was really uncomfortable. We loved everything about the condo, but definitely feel like it's a necessity to get the master mattress replaced.

Another issue was a unit upstairs being rehabbed - an hour after we arrived the jack hammering started. Noise at various times, including early morning, continued through our month long stay. Kitchen not very well stocked - had to buy new frying pans (which we brought back home), mugs (left in unit). Bath mat needed in master bath - purchased and left in unit. Could use more silverware. Nice balcony, with great views of gulf and magnificent sunsets.

We certainly do not expect our guests to have to go out and purchase items that should already be in the unit. Should any instances where commons necessities that are required for the rental property, we would be happy to get those items for the unit since they are supposed to be there anyway. I'm happy to report that new frying pans and silverware have been purchased and are stocked in the property. It's unfortunate that during your stay there was construction going on. That seems to happen during the off season. We appreciate your review and will work to make the necessary changes to the unit. This was an amazing condo in a fabulous location. It was clean, spacious, and quite. It came with a golf cart rental which made our stay even more special. We were able to cruise around the resort in the golf cart which was sooo beautiful. I cannot wait to go back.

This unit was recently updated and was right on the beach. Unit was perfect location, easy access to beach and to parking lot. Beautiful decor, the only suggestion I have is to update the mattress in the master bedroom. I would definitely stay here again!!

My family had a wonderful time at 4063 beachside one!! We rented the unit to stay in for my daughters wedding and everyone was very well pleased. It was clean it was peaceful and the view was breathtaking!! I couldn't have made a better decision and we look forward to going back.

As always it was a great vacation, but the new rule of no pets will deter me from staying here again. It was hard without my little one, but we did make it. I will be looking for pet friendly next time though.

Clean, well kept condo with a great view of the beach and water. The balcony is angled slighty to the West, so you can only see that direction, but that was fine with me. Easy parking and access to the beach and pool. Plenty of luggage carts for unloading and loading. The laundry access was through the master bath which may be an issue for some, but it wasn't for us. The only real complaint was that the master bedroom was significantly warmer than the rest of the condo, even with all of the vents closed in the other rooms. It was difficult to make it comfortable for all rooms at night. If you like it to be cooler than 75 degrees to sleep in the master, it might be cold for people in the other rooms.
